Ever wondered what a winemaker looks for when walking about the vineyard? Join our Assistant Winemaker Adrienne Lindstrom on Thursday, August 22nd, at 6pm for an evening educational stroll around our vineyard and learn about the various characteristics of grapes that we look for as they ripen. You will learn about the key differences between table grapes and wine grapes, sample some of the grapes off of the vine, and also try 3 of our Estate Grown wines amongst the grapes they are made from. Adrienne will provide an education on grape growing and winemaking in New England and also answer any questions you may have. The vineyard walk will take approximately one hour and you will taste our Estate Red, White and Rose wines.
There will be time at the end of the evening to grab a bite to eat and another glass of wine, if you would like to relax and enjoy the farm. The kitchen and bar will be open for food and wine sales until 7:30.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain. The vineyard grass may be wet and ground uneven, so please consider proper footwear.
In case of severe rain, patrons will be notified and the event will be held the following evening, on Friday August 23rd, at 6pm.
