Not sure about you, but I can always go for a taco! Come to Hawk Ridge Winery on Wednesday August 21, from 6-8pm for a fun evening of wine and taco pairings. Our marvelous King Richie has come up with 4 delicious tacos for you all to try with wines crafted and paired by our winemaker Maureen. Our winemaker will host the evening, giving you fun and interesting details on the creation of these wines and the winemaking process. Two of our favorite things paired together? Might taste just as good as wine on a day off from work!

For the wine and taco pairing, each guest will receive 4 soft flour tortilla tacos paired with 4 2oz pours of our wines.

• Jerk Chicken Taco with cilantro lime slaw and pickled red onions, paired with Sassy Hawk White Wine

• Baja Shrimp Taco with mango salsa and chipotle crema, paired with White Sangria

• Pork Carnitas with sharp cheddar cheese and Pico de Gallo, paired with Western CT Highlands Red Wine

• Traditional Beef Taco with sharp cheddar cheese and Pico de Gallo, paired with Mad Hawk Red Wine
