How this works:

On Friday, December 6th...IT'S BACKKKKK!!!!

The battle has returned! Compete to create a Ginger Bread house worthy of remembrance. Tickets are $45.00 for a team of 2 and include a free drink for each player and a gingerbread house kit. Please arrive at 5:30 pm for a 6:00 pm start.

Each team will have 90 minutes to build. After the time is up, Hawk Ridge Staff will vote on their favorites based on creativity, design, originality, and use of materials. Feel free to build based on a theme! For example, we've seen items with sports themes, movie themes, popular culture themes, etc. Having a plan before coming in is a good idea *hint hint*

This year, we are throwing in some new rules!

1. Each team will receive a "Ginger Bomb." Ginger bombs are submitted anonymously and the targeted team will be docked 1 point from their final score.

2. Hawk Ridge will supply a mystery item that must be included in each design

You may bring in additional decorating items but everything on the final project MUST be edible! You will be given a pizza box as a base to build upon.

Temperatures are cooling down, so its time to warm up with some seasonal wines and even a little bourbon! Come to Hawk Ridge to meet award winning mixologist, author, and brand creator Justin Morales of Up n Down Rock n' Bourbon. Justin was CT Restaurant Association's mixologist of the year, has helped open many award winning restaurants, and has developed his own unique style of bourbon, known as Rock n' Bourbon, a spin on the classic Rock n Rye.

We have paired two of Justin Morales' delicious bourbon based cocktails with two of our award winning wines and delicious seasonal desserts. Come down for an evening of local wines and spirits, decadent desserts, and some fun stories from Justin Morales and Maureen Macdonald, Hawk Ridge's head winemaker. The two will describe their creative process and give some inside information on their product development as well as entertain with some industry stories as well. Along with serving clients in 20 countries, Mark has worked and presented at the Healing Spirit Expo in Northampton MA, the Soul Light Expo at Mohegan Sun and Glastonbury CT, the Astrological Society of CT, Black Cat Mystical Shop in Bridgeport CT.
